The film is set in the small town of Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh, where a free-spirited girl named Bitti (Kriti Sanon) lives with her parents (Pankaj Tripathi and Seema Pahwa). Plot summary
One day, Bitti comes across a novel called Bareilly Ki Barfi at a bookshop and is surprised to find that the protagonist of the book is exactly like her. She becomes curious about the author, Pritam Vidrohi (Rajkummar Rao), who seems to understand her so well. She decides to track him down with the help of the book's publisher, Chirag Dubey (Ayushmann Khurrana), who runs a printing press in Bareilly.

But things do not go as planned, as Vidrohi turns out to be a smart and confident guy who impresses Bitti with his charm and humor. He also develops feelings for her, creating a love triangle between him, Bitti, and Chirag. Who will Bitti choose in the end? Will Chirag confess his true feelings and identity to her?
